Verona’s Historical Treasures Virtual Walking Tour
Prepare to be transported through time as we delve into Verona’s historical treasures!
Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Northern Italy’s Veneto region, Verona has quietly emerged as a must-visit destination in Italy, attracting visitors from around the globe.
Often nicknamed the city of love, Verona is also home to the “Arena di Verona“, an impeccably preserved Roman amphitheater that continues to host spectacular opera performances and cultural events.
Thanks to our local guide, we will learn more about the history of this imposing structure, that after the Colosseum in Rome and the Amphitheatre of Capua, is nowadays the world’s third biggest amphitheater.
Leaving the Arena behind and the iconic Piazza Bra, we’ll embark on a virtual stroll along Verona’s medieval walls, which once stood as protective sentinels around the city.
Our virtual adventure will continue to the remarkable Borsari Door, also known as Porta Borsari, one of Verona’s well-preserved Roman gates that served as a pivotal entrance to the ancient Roman city of Verona.
Our final destination will be the awe-inspiring Castelvecchio. This medieval fortress and its picturesque bridge are a testament to the magnificence of medieval engineering and the rich history of this enchanting city.
Don’t miss out on the chance to join our virtual walking tour and get ready to be enchanted by the splendor and rich history of Verona!
