Join us for a brand-new virtual walking tour of Trevi, a beautiful hilltop town surrounded by silvery olive groves in the heart of Umbria.
Known as the “Balcony of Umbria,” Trevi rises dramatically above the valley, offering wonderful views across the Umbrian countryside. During our walk, we will explore its narrow medieval streets, stone houses, hidden passageways, and peaceful squares while discovering the long history of this fascinating town.
Our journey will take us through Piazza Mazzini, the lively heart of Trevi, before continuing towards some of its most important churches and historic buildings. We will admire the elegant architecture of the old town and uncover Roman remains that reveal Trevi’s ancient origins.
We will also discover the town’s deep connection with olive oil, one of the great treasures of this area. Trevi is surrounded by thousands of olive trees, some of them centuries old, and its extra virgin olive oil is considered among the finest in Italy. We will hear about the harvest, traditional olive presses, local recipes, and the customs that have shaped life here for generations.
Along the way, we will uncover curious stories, religious traditions, and local legends, including Trevi’s connection with Saint Emiliano, the town’s patron saint, whose story is remembered during one of its most important celebrations.

The tour will be hosted on Zoom. To register, you are required to enter your full name (first and last name). After the registration, you will receive via email a personal link to access the virtual event. To protect your privacy, your camera will be disabled during the event.
