Tiramisù Virtual Experience – History, Origin and Recipe

Delicious, simple and made with just a few ingredients…when you’re down nothing is better than a Tiramisù! Literally! And we mean literally ’cause the word tiramisù means “bring me up”!

But why was this strange denomination used to describe such an amazing and iconic sweet? Where did Tiramisu come from? During this  virtual experience, we will discover the history and legends behind its name and we will prepare together the Tiramisù, one of the most famous Italian desserts, directly from Beatrice’s grandma’s book of recipes! Don’t miss this NEW fun experience, you’ll learn everything about this iconic dessert loved all over the world!

Let’s get started with the ingredients!

  • Mascarpone cheese: 17 ½ oz / 2 cups and a half (500gr)
  • Dark powdered Cocoa: 1 cup (200 gr, as much as is needed to cover the surface of the
    Tiramisù)
  • 5 fresh eggs
  • Sugar: ½ cup (100 gr)
  • Ladyfingers/sponge fingers cookies: 17 ½ oz (500 gr)
  • Coffee: 1 cup (sugared or not, up to your taste)

Tools:

  • Little spoon, fork, knife
  • Bowls
  • Board
  • Aluminum or glass tray
  • Little jars (optional, if you want to present the tiramisù in an artistic way)
  • Electric food whisk blender (this is really useful, otherwise beating the eggs takes forever)
