Raphael Virtual Tour, a Master Renaissance Painter

If you have always wanted to know everything about Raphael’s life and his masterpieces, this virtual tour is perfect for you!
Raffaello Sanzio from Urbino, known simply as “Raphael“, is considered the best-loved and most emblematic Renaissance painter, celebrated for the perfection and grace of his paintings and drawings.

In his short life, Raffaello left behind an incredible legacy. He quickly moved from his small town of Urbino to the heart of the Renaissance—Florence—before being summoned to Rome, where he would spend the rest of his life. In 1508 Pope Julius II commissioned Raphael to paint a series which would include his magnum opus, The School of Athens.

From oil paintings and frescos to tapestries to architecture, Raphael was an artist who mastered anything that was thrown his way. It’s no wonder that he, along with Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, are responsible for shaping this era in art history. After his death in 1520, his reputation only grew over time.

Get ready for a journey through the mind of the “divine painter“: you will be led by an art and history passionate guide through Raphael’s outstanding Italian artworks! It will be an incredible opportunity to discover some of the major masterpieces in the history of art.
