Step back in time with an enthralling virtual walking tour of Carsulae, a lesser-known but remarkably preserved ancient Roman city nestled in the verdant heart of Umbria, often known  as the “Pompeii of Umbria” for its extensive and well-preserved ruins. Thanks to our local guide Patrizia, you’ll traverse the decumanus maximus, the main street lined with the haunting ruins of shops, temples, and public buildings, each telling its own story of daily life, commerce, and religion in Roman times. 

You’ll learn about the archaeological discoveries that have unveiled the mysteries of Carsulae, from  the remains of the majestic forum where citizens gathered to the amphitheater that echoes with the spectacles of the past, to the thermal baths.
