Filippino Lippi Virtual Tour – Pupil of Botticelli and Son of a Master

Join us on a virtual tour to discover Filippino Lippi, a talented Renaissance painter and close friend of Sandro Botticelli. This is the story of an artist who grew up surrounded by art and went on to create works full of beauty and life.

Filippino was the son of the famous painter Fra Filippo Lippi. From a young age he followed his father’s path, but soon found his own style. Working with Botticelli helped him improve his skills, and their friendship led to ideas and projects that shaped both of their careers.

Together we’ll look at some of Filippino’s greatest works, such as the colorful frescoes in the Brancacci Chapel in Florence and the dramatic scenes in the Carafa Chapel in Rome. His paintings show a mix of Botticelli’s elegance and his own love for storytelling, making them unique and unforgettable.

We’ll also explore the special bond between Lippi and Botticelli—more than teacher and student, they were friends who inspired each other and left a lasting mark on Renaissance art.

Don’t miss this chance to enjoy the art of Filippino Lippi and discover his world from the comfort of your home.
