Our local guide Patrizia, will lead you through the town’s lovely and well-kept medieval centre to tell you the history and anecdotes of this undiscovered Tuscan jewel.
You will virtually walk through Cortona’s streets to discover the secrets of this Etruscan village, starting from the legend behind its origins. You’ll explore the highlights of this ancient city: Roman and Etruscan ruins, medieval churches and dwellings and the most important squares: Piazza della Repubblica, the heart of Cortona’s historic center,defined “the most romantic square in Italy” by the famous Dutch violinist André Rieu and Piazza Signorelli , home of the the Etruscan museum and Teatro Signorelli, a very elegant neoclassical theater.
