Join us for a new virtual tour with slides through Northern Sardinia, a land of ancient history, wild landscapes, crystal-clear sea, proud traditions and fascinating cultural identities.
We will begin with a broad introduction to the history and geography of Sardinia, exploring how the island’s position in the heart of the Mediterranean shaped its culture, architecture, language and way of life over the centuries. From prehistoric civilizations and Nuragic heritage to maritime routes, medieval towns, coastal defenses and local traditions, we’ll discover how many different layers make Sardinia so unique.
The heart of this tour will then focus on some of the most beautiful and representative places in the north of the island. We’ll explore Alghero, with its Catalan soul, sea views and charming old town; Castelsardo, dramatically set above the sea and rich in medieval atmosphere; Sassari, an important cultural center with elegant streets, traditions and historic landmarks; and Bosa, one of Sardinia’s most colorful and picturesque towns, beautifully located along the river.
Along the way, we’ll also discover Sardinia’s extraordinary archaeological heritage, including ancient sites that reveal the island’s mysterious Nuragic past and its deep connection with prehistoric Mediterranean cultures.

The tour will be hosted on Zoom. To register, you are required to enter your full name (first and last name). After the registration, you will receive via email a personal link to access the virtual event. To protect your privacy, your camera will be disabled during the event.
